Hall Farm is a beautiful wedding venue, set in acres of farmland deep in North East Lincolnshire. Sophie and Ben definitely made the right choice for their wedding venue. They not only chose Hall Farm to host their wedding, but they made use of St Peters Church for the ceremony across the road making it perfect for guests to easily travel between venues. The church is literally a stone’s throw away from Hall Farm – there’s not many venues in Lincolnshire that offer such direct accessibility between church and reception venue.

Hall Farm Lincolnshire wedding venue

Sophie & Ben had booked me the year before and hearing all about their wedding before the big day got me excited for their wedding. When it came, I arrived to meet Sophie in their balcony room. Everything was chilled and calm – which sums up Sophie’s personality in one. That was the best bit about the whole day – how everything just fell together and I felt that both Sophie and Ben were on the same wave length; it felt like I had known these two forever. Sophie’s dress was absolutely stunning – fitting her figure perfectly, one of my favourite shots is the one of her and Ben in the field with her back turned. The detail flowing down the whole dress was incredible.

The wedding reception was held in the Fenby Room, which features an impressive mezzanine floor overlooking the wedding party. Sophie had decorated this room absolutely beautifully, you could see how much care and attention they had put into everything. The seating plan and signs that were dotted around the room Sophie had made herself, the seating plan was one of the most impressive I have ever seen. I always love weddings at Hall Farm for this room alone – the light is just beautiful as it flows in from all directions. If you spend more than 10 minutes with me you’ll know I’m all about the light!

One last mention – the light in the church (there’s that light again!). I felt I was in my element as the sunbeams were flowing down from behind me and giving such beautiful contrasting colours – this is by far one of my favourite churches to photograph in. I felt extremely lucky with such a beautiful couple and incredible light, but judge for yourself with this selection of photos from the day below:
