As Jessica and Jordan’s Lillibrooke Manor wedding photographer, I was lucky to be part of this fun, family wedding at this wonderful wedding venues. This couple were so in love – I mean check out the first kiss! It certainly makes my job a heap easier when the couple radiate love from start to finish. This wedding venue seemed like one from a film set. So many of my images I can compare to films, paintings or historical events. It was maybe due to the day beginning with the discovery of the biggest painting of Dame Judi Dench I’d ever seen – and painted by Derren Brown of all people! Magic.

A film set, or a wedding?

Jess had chosen an Airbnb near the Maidenhead wedding venues to stay in the night before with her bridal party. What a find it was was, even Jess was over the moon with it. The finds didn’t stop after Judi – the loft space created such incredible light for dress portraits and was the perfect place for photographs. Jess’ wedding dress looked simple, but on closer inspection the beadwork and detail was just divine.

Best laid plans meant that the taxi that had been booked didn’t show. So, not only can you call me Aden Priest – wedding photographer, I’m also known as Aden Priest – bridal party taxi service. What an honour it was too taking the bridal party to the door of the maidenhead ceremony room.

Lillibrooke Manor is a gorgeous riverside wedding venue and so well taken care of. History seems to seep from between the bricks and everything had the fine balance between preservation and modern perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The ceremony was meant to be held outside, but as English weather does, it rained last minute and so the chairs and decorations were swiftly moved into the barn. This last minute change of plan made no impact to the ceremony. The barn was stunning and created an amazing backdrop. High ceilings, light and those eye catching lines.

The meal and speeches were held in the most beautiful barn, the lights, the lines, the decor just drew the eye and even I couldn’t stop looking at it all. The top table again looked like a film set. Later in the day, we took some time to take couple photos, we could have literally gone anywhere, the surrounding areas were stunning. The gardens looked as pristine as a film set and so we made the most of the gorgeous greens.

The evening resulted in lots of partying. Everyone was smiling and dancing, I mean the homemade pizza van and the gin bar may have had something to do with it, but nonetheless, great party. Congratulations both of you, one of the memorable wedding venues, a fabulous couple and a fantastic day. The final photo sums you two up – achieving great heights through teamwork!
