Yorkshire engagement photoshoot

Lauren and Adam were just the best couple for this Yorkshire engagement photoshoot. Lauren’s love of bluebells was the key request to their photoshoot and so off we went on the look out. After a search around the National Trust website, it showed us that one of my favourite places in Yorkshire – Brimham Rocks – was the perfect location for us. What more could you look for in a Yorkshire engagement photoshoot? Bluebells, the stunning rock formations and the woods surrounding the area for some gorgeous photos. What a bonus!

Brimham Rocks

It was the perfect day for this photoshoot, such gorgeous sunny weather that uplifted the soul. I met Lauren and Adam in the carpark after attending a wedding fayre at nearby Stockeld Park. It was great to meet two more friendly faces and stretch my legs. We headed straight for the outer parts, away from the rocks to capture those bluebells, they did not disappoint. Carpets of bluebells awaited us in the woods and patches of sunlight. As it was late afternoon we were able to capture that gorgeous Yorkshire golden glow light. The rocks provided a rugged backdrop, amongst the mossy, green trees, plus it was easy for me to gain height and capture some gorgeous angles.

The way Lauren and Adam interacted with other – and the banter they gave me – meant that even Adam (a self-confessed, camera-shy kinda fella) made for some gorgeous engagement photos. The below examples are a small selection of photographs from this hilarious pairs engagement photoshoot.

Blogging this Yorkshire engagement photoshoot has reminded me of Lauren and Adam’s amazing Suffolk wedding that happened a few weeks later. Keep your eyes out and this has shuffled its way to the top of my list and will undoubtedly be making an appearance soon!

In the meantime, check out this bright and beautiful sunshine filled wedding held at Laceby Manor Golf Club. Held in North Lincolnshire, this was a little closer to home for me and just as much fun!
