Engagement photography France

I have so much to share from my recent destination weddings in France, but rather than sharing all the weddings at once, I wanted to share this gorgeous engagement photography France. This was a shoot the day after Elle and Leyton’s wedding at Chateau le Soulac. It didn’t matter that it was after the wedding. They now have a completely different perspective of their trip, and another gorgeous set of photos to share. This is the beauty of a destination wedding, I’m available before and after the wedding day to photograph other events and couple shoots like this.

Dordogne

We had discussed the location beforehand, as it’s a special spot for myself. Every time I take a trip to do wedding photography at Chateau Soulac, I make sure I stop off for a beer on the Dordogne. I just love this part of France, so chilled out and pretty, yet not far from the UK at all. We took some time to wander by the river and explore some of the back streets. It was a lovely change of pace after their busy wedding the previous day.

Photography tips

My favourite moment was having the chance to sit down and chat about Elle and Leyton’s plans for the honeymoon. They had an epic journey ahead of them. In reality their wedding was the start of their story. A few camera tips was the main focus of the discussions, and from what I’ve seen on Facebook it looks like they had an amazing time. We didn’t take long to capture the images below (and others that I’ve delivered to the couple) as Elle and Leyton had to get back to their guests.
