A sun-soaked day at The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate, a beautiful scenic location right in the heart of Harrogate. As a Sun Pavilion Wedding photographer – the outdoor ceremonies are perfect under the canopy – just as Megan had described it over the phone. Seeing it on the day was much more than you could have imagined. Surprise after surprise and so much SINGING!
From the initial phone call, I knew it was going to be an incredible wedding. When I say these two have an infectious personality, I really mean it. They are beautiful inside and out. These two had smiles on their faces for the entire day, smiles you could see exactly how much in love they both were, but exactly how much they were loving every single moment.

During the day, they both had a complete surprise, as Megan’s dad had booked the Singing Waiters. When they did their signature reveal, Megan thought the singer had hurt himself and cared more about making sure he was ok. She’d already started picking up cutlery before she realised he had a microphone in his hand and had burst into song. She just wanted to make sure he was ok! This willingness to help tells a lot about a person, but the moment she realised what was going on, it was the perfect moment to capture.

They had songs that got the entire wedding party up on their feet and even brought tears – this shows how good the singing waiters really are!
For their first dance, they had a band called The Revivers and had their first dance right in the middle of The Sun Pavilion, the perfect location for all those close to them to watch the evening unfold. When I say it was an action packed evening – I mean it, they had booked my package to the first dance (or 8pm) and having the early first dance at 5pm meant I got an entire evenings worth of photos – when I left at 8pm it felt like it was midnight there was so much partying!
