Katie had her bridal prep at the cute little cottage over the road from The Barns East Yorkshire, surrounded by her mum and bridesmaids. It was a perfect little bolthole for bride prep and for the newlyweds to spend the first night as a married couple. It was such a fun morning, with lots of giggles. When it came to the bridal reveal with Katie’s dad… it’s enough to make anyone cry. He was just so proud and emotional looking at his daughter. Out of all the weddings venues in Hull and surrounding areas, Riverlands, is a new East Yorkshire barn on the wedding scene and universally loved by all Yorkshire wedding photographers. I loved the care and detail that has been taken in creating a wedding space so beautiful. I think the dress shot shows this off to a tee – the walkway of a green, with that stunning living roof and the carefully thought out lighting for later on. It makes such a ‘none’ space cosy and welcoming, and a feature in itself. The ceremony was held in the barn, and again, wow! So much care, attention and emotion, so perfect wedding photos. The party atmosphere began with Back Chat Brass making an appearance, a legendary brass band to get everyone dancing. They followed through into the meal getting everyone on their feet and dancing away. What all wedding photographers want!

There was so much energy in the wedding barn and this did not stop until late on. Drinks and dancing and the laughing was infectious! So many candid shots and whilst the couple photos were truly stunning, just capturing Katie and Lewis with their guests made for amazing wedding day photographs.
