For the Wedding of Lauren and George – I travelled to North Yorkshire to The Tithe Barn. They had a glorious February day – it was warm and that sunlight was just – wow! Its the type of sunlight you say to your friends – you cant believe its still winter.

In the morning, they both got ready in what I can describe as ski lodges – it actually felt like we were in the hills in France waiting to go skiing! Set in the beautiful valley overlooking River Wharfe, you couldn’t help but feel relaxed. Perfect for Lauren getting ready with the most awesome bridal party.

The Tithe Barn, nestled in Yorkshire

One extra VIP was present in the morning – Indy! Lauren and George’s important family member, who was just gorgeous. Sadly she couldn’t be with them throughout the day, but got plenty of fuss and walks in the morning, she was definitely the center of attention. Oh, you realised Indy’s a dog right?!

George and Lauren really stood out at the front of Tithe Barn during the ceremony, they were both illuminated by the beautiful huge windows. One of my favourite shots from this part of the day is Lauren with the biggest of smiles – she glowed! She had the biggest smile throughout the whole day!

Bolton Abbey Wedding Barn

This was my first visit to Tithe Barn despite hearing a lot about it, and this weekend I had 2 amazing weddings here! The staff at the venue are awesome, nothing was ever a problem. Just what you want on your wedding day.

Special shout out to Lilly who performed rock and alternative music throughout the day on guitar, offering her own versions of famous songs. This made for some amazing reactions from guests who were a constant stream coming over to say how great she was!

Following a fantastic reception, the evening began with marshmallows roasting, Runswick Band dancing and lots of drinks, with a core group of guests staying on the dancefloor all night long. That’s what makes a wedding!

Cripps Barn is just gorgeous and that’s an understatement, they have an eye to detail and every little corner has a hidden gem. The perfect wedding venue for the Cotswolds. It felt like the set of Game of Thrones inside the barn. You can imagine a bunch of people hundreds of years ago, sat having a feast and cheering.
