Intimate farm wedding Lincolnshire

The intimate farm wedding Lincolnshire of Jolene and David was so very British. With afternoon tea, bunting and a dog in a bow tie this wedding seemed to be the epitome of Lincolnshire life! Or, what we’d probably how we’d all like to be spending a sunny Saturday.

All the loveliness

I can remember the initial meeting when they came to visit, we talked for absolutely ages about everything ranging from weddings right through to geo-caching! Turns out there’s a geo-caching spot close by to my house I never knew about. I always say thats the best bit about my job. Not only do the couple go away with a collection of beautiful photographs reflecting who they are, but I also go away with my own stories to tell. Thats what weddings should always be about – fun, laughter and memories.

Family farm

The wedding ceremony itself was held in a beautiful tiny local church, All Saints. It barely fits 30 people, full of character and true perfection. It’s claim to fame is that it’s actually one of the smallest complete churches in the country.

My favourite part about Jolene and David’s wedding was how they came about choosing the venue for their wedding. Jolene had grown up on her parents farm in Pilham, Lincolnshire. What better venue for their reception? With a spectacular marque it was a fantastic space for food and partying into the night. Plus, with access into the barn for some obligatory hay bale photographs and rustic brick and wooden walls. Plus, they could pose against the cutest red tractor I’ve ever seen.

The whole feel of this wedding was an exact match to who they are as a couple. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do! Feel free to leave comment below.
