Love and romance
Andy and Abby were married at Elsham Hall Lincolnshire exactly a year ago today. Happy anniversary! I wanted to release this blog a few weeks ago, but thought it would be a romantic treat to wait a little longer. Simply put, I adored this wedding. Everything about the day oozed romance. From the bridesmaids flower crowns, the flower girls in their pink and white and Abby’s stunning sweetheart dress complimenting the heart shaped arch at Elsham Hall.

As a Lincolnshire wedding photographer, I love shooting Elsham Hall weddings. It has everything you need for a wedding and more. The stunning barn is decorated beautifully; thousands of fairy lights and swathes of white organza drape between the beams. It gives a whimsical but rustic feel inside the converted barn. For Abby and Andy’s couples photos, we were able to explore into the grounds and gardens. With so many different areas available for photography, we were able to take advantage of the spring flowers and the privacy the grounds afford.

On the wedding day, Andy was such a character. He’s a man of many faces! If you look closely at the evening photos he was loving the camera and had some amazing moves. Not a dad dance in sight. He really made me laugh, which is always an added bonus for me as a wedding photographer. Of course, he has to be someone special to be marrying the beautiful Abby.
The merry go round was a wonderful addition to the party and everyone seemed to have a go. I had a ball spinning around capturing the love, the giggles and the merriment of everyone. It was an extra special treat for the young and young at heart.
So, congratulations Abby and Andy. I hope that your first year as ‘man and wife’ has been as fabulous as your wedding day.
