SEVEN YEARS as a wedding photographer in Lincolnshire! I’ve been shooting weddings at Elsham Hall this long! I’ve seen Elaine and her team at Bride Beautiful, become something super special, providing a wonderful service to all of their couples. Reading that back, my thoughts would be to ask if I was bored yet and the answer is a resounding NO! I LOVE shooting at Elsham Hall and often have couples who request engagement shoots there! Check this engagement shoot out. Even better – I recently spent an amazing few hours there as the photographer for a family shoot. I was the wedding photographer for this couple years ago, and it was just brilliant to catch up with them around the grounds of Elsham Hall for a shoot with their two little boys.
Wedding photographer Lincolnshire – 7 years and counting!
It was huge honour to be Erin and Mathew’s wedding photographer! Especially since I was the first wedding photographer in Lincolnshire, to photograph Elsham Hall’s new outdoor ceremony venue. The wedding pavilion is licensed and so provides the perfect space for an outdoor wedding, overlooking the stunning lake which is such an integral part of the grounds at Elsham Hall. It was a beautiful space for the couple to make their vows in front of loved ones. Whether by design or a happy accident the carved hearts on the pavilion, was carried throughout the day with little touches too.

Erin is Canadian, which brought a bit of transatlantic glamour to the party. The girls got ready at the Old School House in Wrawby. If you’re reading this and haven’t yet booked it, then get on it! It’s the perfect Lincolnshire country cottage for you and the whole gang to get ready at. I love it here – the light is perfect. One of my favourite photographs is the one of Erin fastening her shoes. Such a simple moment, but one which shows off Erin’s elegance perfectly.
The bridal party were brilliant. I captured some cracking group shots, although the resident peacock tried his hardest to upstage the bride! Even with a full feather display, I don’t think he quite succeeded!
The party began with a hilarious set of speeches in the barn, which was set up in a funky zig-zag that meant everyone was facing towards the top table. As the evening began, the party was immense. Erin is a cheerleader and so there was plenty of dancing. The epic final shot, of the gallery below, shows her surrounded by her friends showing off those moves.
Insta famous
This year I’ve been updating my Instagram page @adenphoto much more. Out of every single photograph I posted, this wedding had some of the most popular. In fact, my most popular photo of 2019 was one I’ll let you find – evening photo, girl in the pink dress. What was the man laid on the floor thinking when this wedding photographer in Lincolnshire captured the moment?! I’ll let you leave some suggestions in the comments below.
