Willerby Barn Wedding Photographer
Courtney and Dan threw everything at their T’he Barn at Willerby’ wedding last Autumn. It was a stunning day with so much effort put into all of the details for them, their daughter and their guests! It seriously had everything. Church ceremony, converted barn, amazing flowers and colour scheme for the decor, personalised neon lights, fireworks and sparklers. Plus all of the gorgeousness and partying photos that comes with every brilliant wedding. Phew! When it comes to Hull wedding photography, this is a beautiful venue to work at.
The Barn at Willerby wedding
The Barn at Willerby is a gorgeous wedding venue to get married at. A converted barn at Willerby Hill, just down the road from key routes into Hull, Beverley and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Just down from Cheval Willerby tea rooms and Castle Hill Hospital. (for those of you who need that extra bit of information where it is!) It’s a huge airy space that offers so much choice for how you want to do your wedding and photography. Just like Courtney and Dan did! And, I have to say their website is pretty awesome too – even has a link to local Hull taxis to help you and your guests – winner!

There has been a real shift in desire to have a barn wedding in recent years. The chic rustic look has been something I’ve seen more and more and the barn wedding venue offers an easy backdrop to add more rustic detailing to or to add a luxury feel. The decor and flowers that Courtney and Dan chose, managed to do both, as the Autumn colour scheme added luxury warmth. It really was something special to see when I first walked into Willerby Barn on their wedding day. The bridesmaids all wowed in their burnt orange bridesmaids dresses too, but the star of the show was clearly Courtney, and of course their daughter.

Autumn weddings can be really magical, as the light is softer and the world offers up such different colour. Plus, people expect fireworks on the 5th November, so no grumpy neighbours!
