Wedding photography France
Wedding photography France, is not much different to English wedding photography, except for the obvious! I had been waiting for the wedding of Alex and Steve at Chateau Soulac for over a year, after shooting at the venue the year before. I initially had a Skype meeting with Alex, for a brief chat about their wedding. Just ahead of the wedding, we arranged to meet for a meal in Oxford before travelling to France a few weeks later. The moment I sat down with these two I knew that this was going to be an extra special wedding. Steve and I quickly found out we share an appreciation for excellent steak. When Steve visited the men’s room it was a perfect moment to ask Alex all about ‘the dress’. What a stunner it was when I finally got to see it in France.
This is an epic one
Fast forward to the wedding day in France. We had a few quick rain showers which changed Alex’s plans of an outdoor wedding, meaning the wedding had to be held in the barn. This is one of the many wonderful things about Chateau Soulac, the diversity and readiness of the venues staff to change things at the last minute. The ceremony barn has such incredible character. Set against the huge double doors with the light flowing through and the vineyards in the background. This place caters to the details, and how beautiful it is.
All the love
My favourite part about these two is their connection. During the speeches I caught Alex totally locked into Steve. The evening photos make me laugh every time I see them, they sure knew how to party. We were all up until the early hours of the morning, drinking and having the time of our lives. This wedding was special – one I will keep in my memories forever. Thank you for allowing me to be part of it Alex and Steve.
Steve left this lovely comment on one of the photographs I shared via Facebook.
“I wanted to say thanks for everything. You really understand your clients needs and expectations. Aden, you and Chris helped us so much you were part of the wedding party and you drew on experience from other weddings and knowledge to guide us through the day. Cheers mate.”
It always means the world when I get such fantastic feedback for a job I love. Especially when it involves wedding photography France!
