Hollie and Chris’ summer barn wedding was just brilliant! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – when a couple make their wedding about them – it just works!

In the morning, we were at Hollie’s family home and when I say this house was beautiful, it’s an understatement. The perfect place for bridal preparations on their big day, with so much natural light for perfect make up, and to capture all of the happy faces. Plus of course, those emotional parts of the day! The morning of a wedding is possibly the most highly charged part of the day. Hollie was stunning in her wedding dress!

With the ceremony held in front of the huge glass windows, Hollie’s entrance was a spectacle! You can see that in Chris’ face 🙂 As usual, the staff at Bunny Hill made the day that extra bit special, with their flawless organisation, ensuring nothing is ever an issue. The Singing Waiters made their presence known, pushing the party atmosphere sky high. Plus, with plenty of magic from the ever brilliant Rich Reynolds, there was plenty to entertain all the guests. These two made the most of all of the gorgeous spaces Bunny Hill has to offer, for their family and friends to have a brilliant day.

Relaxed atmosphere at this barn wedding venue

Bunny Hill is one of those wedding barns that are full of class and romance, the perfect location for wedding couples. As a Hull wedding photographer, I always want a venue that has everything in one place and this barn wedding certainly has that. You can get ready here, have your ceremony, have the reception and also there’s plenty of places to explore both natural and industrial feel. It ticks all the boxes.

The road leading up to the venue was the perfect spot for some smoke bomb dancing. With little to no wind, it was the perfect spot to make a unique photograph. Hollie and Chris’ faces were pure happiness and laughter all day long – the key ingredient for incredible photographs.

I recently listened to a podcast, and one of the quotes that has stuck with me said, “If you love what you do, you will never feel like you worked a day in your life.” This wedding was certainly one of those days where being a wedding photographer was the best job in the world.

Stick through it to the end, as Bunny Hill offers the perfect dance floor. Hollie and Chris made the most of this with each other, their guests and of course with the Singing Waiters.. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the band’s shirts!

This summer barn wedding was awesome, there’s not denying it, however Bunny Hill offers the perfect location year round!
