Kai & Todd’s summer wedding at Cripps Barn

Wow, an amazing weekend at the beautiful Cripps Barn, celebrating Kai and Todd’s wedding! Would you believe, the day before their wedding I drove down with red flood warnings and rain so fast I couldn’t see past the end of my bonnet? As a Cripps barn wedding photographer, It was a bit dramatic to say the least but on Kai and Todd’s wedding day it was perfection!

A beautiful location for a barn wedding

Kai got ready in a beautiful little Airbnb just down the road from the venue. The classic wooden charm of the Cotswolds hidden away in a little forested area. Kai being an extremely talented designer, wanted details to be a big part of their wedding. All the pieces you see were created by her and were absolutely stunning!

Cripps Barn is just gorgeous and that’s an understatement, they have an eye to detail and every little corner has a hidden gem. The perfect wedding venue for the Cotswolds. It felt like the set of Game of Thrones inside the barn. You can imagine a bunch of people hundreds of years ago, sat having a feast and cheering.

Cripps Barn is an 18th-century Cotswold stone barn that drips charm and rustic elegance, making it an ideal choice for a countryside wedding. One of Cripps Barn’s standout features is its focus on food, with feasts cooked over open flames using the finest ingredients. From barbecues to rotisseries, the food is freshly prepared and served, creating a dining experience your guests will rave about.

These two are matched perfectly for each other, meeting in the classic way at a work party. Hearing their stories and spending time with them, I could see how much Todd loved Kai and cared for each other’s family and friends. Seeing people in the crowd happy crying, you could see how they were one big family. It was a day surrounded by exactly what you want – love!
