Doddington Hall wedding
Amy and Liam have chosen Doddington Hall to hold their wedding – it’ll be such a wonderful event. Doddington Hall is a gorgeous wedding venue with such flexibility and options that couples will be spoilt for choice. The Elizabethan house and gardens offers such a wide range of things to do on a wedding day that a normal day visit so much too. It’s perfect for a wedding as there are so many little nooks and crannies for perfect wedding photos. It offers such a stunning backdrop, and only a stones throw from Lincoln. For anyone looking for a Lincolnshire wedding venue, Doddington Hall has to be on your list.
Lake District engagement photography
Liam proposed to his now fiance Amy in the Lake District, at Easedale Tarn, where they chose to revisit for their engagement shoot. Luckily for me, the Lake District is one of my favourite places in the world for engagement shoots, weddings or even my own holidays. They wanted to have it somewhere special to them, that will be different to their wedding. Revisiting the locations they had visited on the day they were engaged is one idea for an engagement shoot, but not the only one! It was a red hot summers day, but great fun. We (think!) we even managed to find the rock where Liam had originally proposed, plus had a little picnic by the bridge at the end of the walk, as they had on that day too. They were so adventurous scrambling up rocks in the lake and having a paddle to rest those walkers feet. Even the nudist swimmer gave us a giggle!
Check out some of the photos I took on the day, below.
Love this Lake District engagement photo shoot as much as I do? Their wedding is to be held at Doddington Hall in the heart of Lincolnshire, do check it out if you’re considering your own Lincolnshire wedding. I love living in North Lincolnshire – I have such amazing venues on my doorstep and am so close to the North of England as a whole. Why not check out Bex and Iain’s wedding at the nearby Saltmarshe Hall?
