Lucy and Thomas’ Yorkshire Wedding Barn wedding was OH MY GOSH! Their wedding was held in mid July, just when the wheat fields were turning golden. This is what provided us with the perfect opportunity to  (carefully, you do not want to squash any crops) capture ‘those’ images that made my Instagram blow up, and adorn my Facebook banner page. Awesome! Every photographer dreams of those perfect fields and that flawless sky when they head to rustic wedding venues Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Wedding Barn wedding

We’re all here to read, and more importantly see, this North Yorkshire wedding venue in all it’s glory. Having being decorated to Lucy and Thomas’ barn wedding venue vision, it was stunning. It was a glorious sunny day and their outdoor ceremony was held in the bandstand in the grounds. One thing that has come out of the past few years, is the legal ability to get married in the great outdoors! There’s so many places you can get married at the Yorkshire Wedding Barns, so if the weather does turn, there are options. These two mixed it up with the outdoor wedding, and the use of the Lake Barn for their wedding breakfast and evening dancing. A perfect mix!

Blush detailing and wheat fields

The colour scheme was a mix of pastels, with baby pink and blues featuring heavily. It was so pretty! Even the confetti matched the theme. For the couple photos, we headed into the fields, and around the venue itself. It’s such a gorgeous little slice of Yorkshire countryside. If you’re on the look out for Richmond wedding venues, then definitely put this on your list to visit. Even if it doesn’t end up being your jam (how?), a trip to the Gilling Old Mill farm and farm shop down the road is worth it.

Summer sunshine
