Helena and Cal booked me for their Scotter Lincolnshire wedding photography after a family shoot with me at Elsham Hall. Helena has been a good friend of mine for many years now and I was honoured that they chose me to capture their special day. We discussed their wedding whilst doing the family shoot and before we knew it the big day was here!

Scotter Lincolnshire wedding photography

They decided on Scotter Village Hall as their venue, with absolutely gorgeous styling by Annas Attic. As they live local it was the best choice for all their family and friends. It couldn’t have been more perfectly located for the end of the night travel home, and what a party to travel home from! With such a blank canvas they could do anything they wanted with the space, and they certainly did that.

Gorgeous groomsmen and beautiful bridesmaids

This pair have so many people in their lives that care for them, so how could they choose between them all? Simply, they didn’t, and what fantastic photos this makes. Helena was so dedicated to ensuring her photographs sang, that she repainted her bedroom white, to provide the best and most crisp backdrop for her dress. Impressive, but so worth the efforts, I’m sure you’ll agree!

Lincolnshire party time

All of these fabulous people together in one place, plus a glass or two (or three!), meant a party was inevitable. What a party it was! I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. It was a brilliant chance for a catch up with a lot of people from the past for me. Plenty of drinks, even more dancing and fun all the way. A fantastic day for everyone, a wedding to remember.
